CLAMP amperometer only for changing current but kind of peak was visible... Nice to know about LTO that is coming to me as well.

A charge - disharge capacity test would be instructive. My guess is that it's 1300mAh. These cells would be far superior for projects, much safer.

quite nice.... and also the capacitor stile is nice, more easy to work with... just a regular PCB will not work, need thicker traces and solder might not work at high currents.. I think this type of package for this cells look like more China Style Improvisation , also no marking on them showing same china style dubious quality...

Probably a mistake with charging speed. In your video you are charging at 2.8V constant voltage mode instead of constant current. A better way of testing would be turn up the voltage and charge at 10C, while looking at if it will explode or retain/release all these energy.

Constant voltage and constant current. The MAX voltage is limited to 2.8v and the current can be limited to 10C. If the battery voltage rises too fast, the voltage limit prevents the possibility of pushing in enough current.

Max charge current: 25000 mA (10C) => Capacity 2500 mAh Max discharge capacity 37500 mA (15C) => Capacity 2500 mAh So I would not believe the nominal capacity being 3000 mAh...

If you search on AliExpress for 18650 LTO batteries you can find exactly like lithium 18650 batteries with max 1500mAh capacity, i will buy this batties for sure, to make scooter or ebike battery pack.

Just ordered a load of these. All are between 1200-1350mAh from different sellers. Each batch seems to be equal though. Fake, and should be sold as 1300mAh. They are supposed to be 23680 but I received 18650 every time too. I know that real 23680 batteries exist with 2440mAh capacity..

I wanted to try to use PCBs to build the pack too. But delivery took for ever to get these, maybe I will just keep them for testing...

@@1kreature Hello friend... yes density is not so great ( yet ) there is no everything about range, in some vehicle's for example drag racing... you will use definitely LTO, or someone like me prefer long life battery and fast charging on his bike... each project need different type of battery..

wish i could find an 18650 lto without those spindly terminal connectors, just the normal flat plate wtith +ve and -e at opposite ends like regular li-ion 18650s. only ones i can find are on aliexpress and i dont trust them to sell me real lto after a previous bad experience

@@EVCustoms i had a look for korean lto after reading your comment but couldnt find any search results as you describe. since writing my comment though, i did actually buy the aliexpress cells i mentioned and said i didnt trust at the time - they're called BTR hakadi, i havent managed to devise the right sort of equipment to test them individually yet (as all the 18650 capacity testers i've looked up only use the conventional cell chemistries like LFP LCO LiPO etc, so i'm having to build my own) but ive got a dc power meter and a couple 2ohm resistors so i guess i can wire all that up into a useful circuit for a DIY tester, and those resistors should be enough for about a 1c discharge and i guess i can do both the discharge and charge capacity test once ive figured out how to make a microcontroller or something log the voltage while it's discharging so i can get one of those fancy graphs i've seen all the other battery testers generate. so cant quite update with detailed review just yet but i will say the 6 cells i ordered arrived within .003 volts of one another, and having waited a couple months they don't seem to suffer any serious self-discharge problems, as the lowest one now has dropped about .006v from the supplied voltage 4.292V, while the highest is at 4.292V down from 4.295 so on those 2 criteria alone, maybe i spoke too soon in condemning them, but until i've tested them properly i cant say for sure

Not sure about the quality of these, thinking of building an extender battery pack for my ebike but no writtings on the batteries, nothing about manufacturing date, no info ...just what a seller claims hmm, also BMS are harder to be found for these

I agree about markings and date... but this batteries was surprised me, after many test like shorting them , high current discharges at 22A on same cell until 0.0V four times, because i forgot it on load, now this cell have full capacity...

@@EVCustoms Yeah I found some now ..also some HAKADI 2.4v 1500mAh batteries have popped up ...at proper 18650 size - They have some writtings on the side, thinking of making a small ~12v pack and later on I might upgrade it to a 48v(20 cells) for my ebike. Ideally I'd expand it if it's last as long as it's believed, fast charging/discharging and last for 10+ years would be an WoW factor

I was check all batteries and all they have same capacity 1.4-1.5Ah, so for 15C discharge (22A) is ok.. i have tes them...

@@kundeleczek1 If the batteries was 3000mAh as seller says, at 15C this leads must hood more than 37A thing impossible... the actual capacity after capacity tes is 1500mAh so at 15C leads mist hold about 22A max.
