@@thisisme3238 on paper, that may look like a good idea. However, not all criminals target females. In addition, this same type of abduction could happen to a male, whether any sexual component or not. I have watched several podcasts where the young victim.was male, at least old enough to drive. So many victims: Lynne, her family, her schoolmates and friends, and even her employers. No reason was given for their store closure, but I can only imagine their pain and some modicum of guilt. I wonder if the little observation of Lynn helping a customer take bags of groceries to their car is a clue. Years ago, a family friend was Christmas shopping. Loaded up with bags, she decided to bring the parcels to her car before going back to finish up. As she was putting everything into the trunk, somebody shoved her into the trunk and stole her handbag and a couple of bags they could easily run off with. She said it happened so quickly, she didn't even see who assaulted her. I can imagine how easily this could happen to poor Lynn, a kind and helpful person simply trying to make someone else's life better in a small way.

Did Authorities question her friends and classmates? Maybe someone she knew lured her out of the store to her demise? The storm hindering search efforts and the Police focusing on a stranger abduction or serial killer might have blinded them to a family member or friend? Or perhaps the abduction wasn't premeditated as the swab (a road-trip criminal?) initially went for a quick hold up. The intersection spot seems quiet enough and ideal for this simple goal. Then, would be a case where she was just at the bad place at the worst time, as he decided to change plan upon seeing her. Anybody knowing there is an extra cash stash wouldn't ignore it, unless the robbery is supposed to be a smoke screen to mislead the investigators, of course. Now, if there is nothing to even hard confirm any lead, we are both just speculating.
