I don't think the second part is that much of an issue. Many games are on the game pass for a long time, and when they leave they're on sale for a bit. I much prefer that system over Sony's one where you get a few random titles somebody else chose for you. I was on PlayStation a couple years, PS+ did not impress me.

Nintendo aren't charging enough for their games I'm glad they at least got rid of that Nintendo selects and players choice rubbish. I'll die if I pay less than $40 for a game 3. Let me tell you the switch lite is amazing. 4. Motion aiming is a load of bullsh"switch snap". Why can't I just aim with the right stick or a mouse. 5. I definitely wasn't bullied for liking Nintendo prior to 2017. 6. The switch is perfectly fine as it is and definitely does not need an upgrade. 7. Yes I bought the switch online expansion pack. Yes I bought it to play poorly emulated laggy N64 games. 8. Awesome Nintendo really stepped up their game at the online this time it actually works. 9. The GameCube was an awful console who would ever want to play that. 10. Yes I forgiven Sony for destroying Nintendo's reputation with the PS1. 11. Nintendo definitely made a smart business decision by using cartridges on the N64 and mini DVDs on the GameCube. Totally necessary to stop piracy. 12. Man I miss the Nintendo creators program. 13. Wow this Nintendo direct is amazing so many announcements for games I actually care about. 14. Why yes I've played Metroid games prior to Dread's release 15. Yes I played animal crossing games prior to New horizons' release 16. That was a very well worded opinion on something you did not like about breath of the wild I respect it. 17. Things xbox gamers would never say: Wow this time I didn’t even have to start the game a second time to launch. (When on wifi the DRM system sometimes fails to check wether you own the game) Wow this game started in time. (When you launch a game and it the dashboard doesnt detect it has been launched within 10 seconds it will show a popup saying “The game didn’t launch in time. Contact whoever.”, then after 5 more seconds the game shows the splash screen.) Wow today I have not experienced a spontaneous logoff all day long. (When latency goes up too high you get logged off of xbox live, some games because of this throw you back to the start screen of the game. For example gta v restartes the game in story mode) I love it how I can play my Disc games offline. (You have to be online to play your disc games, unless you set up the console as “home-console” then it will work for 1 year. After that you have to go online again, in case you tried to play offline all life long.)

I have an Xbox Series X and here's what I'll never say: 2022 was such an amazing year for Xbox - so many games from the first party studios! The dashboard on Xbox is so intuitive and easy to navigate! Everything in it makes so much sense and I use its every single feature! Specially the ADs - I would never know what to do with my console without it advertising me what should I do. I'm glad that Xbox doesn't have an app to manage all your screenshots and captured game footage, it would've been to easy. Specially happy that you can't copy any of that stuff to a USB stick like you can on PS4. It's great that Microsoft built in a failsafe mechanism that doesn't let me accidentally fill the console storage by recording the video footage to it. I'm so glad that 3.5mm jack on the controller doesn't support any headphones. So many Apple Earpods were saved from wear because they just aren't working properly with an Xbox controllers! I'm glad I can't connect any wired or wireless (adapter) USB headset to the Xbox. This way I have just like 5 overpriced options if I want to get a wireless headset that can work with Xbox. Otherwise I would've never decided which I want. I'm happy that you can't buy a non elite controller for an Xbox that has a built-in rechargeable battery. I just love to buy new AA battery for my each of my controllers every 3-4 weeks. That's what came to my mind in 10 minutes. I can definitely come up with lots more.

Yeah audio output on XBox is embarrassing on all levels. Changing the system volume takes like 10 keypresses every time, the headphone jack has insane quality issues and you get crackling and noise on most headphones, and you cannot connect any bluetooth headphone except the official one by Microsoft. Oh, and when you output audio to the screen via HDMI you can't change the volume anymore. I would love to know how Microsoft came to the conclusion that this is fine.

One thing I noticed: Xbox tends to announce a lot of controllers. Like just now the "Stellar shift controller". And they have a service where you can make your own designs. But no, controllers you pay 70 bucks for still have drift issues that were already 100% solved literal decades ago. Sony and Nintendo are guilty here too, though.
