*Some Notes:* 1) I was not paid to make this video. L-TWOO paid for my travel and accommodation to the launch event, but I didn't get any payment for the video. We're all wearing L-TWOO cycling gear because they were also doing a photoshoot. 2) This is not a review. Consider it a "first look" Need a lot more time with the groupset to call it a review. 3) The crass humour. It seems in the comments some of you love it, some of you hate it. Not sure what the actual ratio is. 4) Will update video with links as soon as available. 5) Also, in the video I incorrectly stated that ROTOR's groupset will mis-shift with temperature variation. This is not the case, *I stand corrected. Sorry ROTOR.* :(

The crass humour comes across as a bit of a Hambini take off. Which is fine he seems to get a lot of fans. Hambini's MO is that he is a contrarian against the usual - 'buy this bike' media content, acting as a disrupter to show the low quality manufacturing/QI and engineering mistakes in the ever more expensive cycling industry do it fits the role. I can understand that in someways by highlighting the growing direct to consumer Chinese brands you sit in a close position as it is countering the 'tradition' bike brands market ownership. However I don't think you need it as it is more based on the positive - better products & a more healthy price.

Reading through the comments there seems to be some confusion about of these are post or flat mount, They ARE flat mount, I think a lot of people are being confused by this because the design of the calipers and the mounts. Basically they have done the opposite to Shimano/SRAM. Because the mounting hole spacing is different on fork than it is on the frame if you want to use the same design of caliper front and rear (like Shimano/SRAM do) one caliper will always need a mount/adapter plate, With Shimano/SRAM no matter what size rotor you use you ALWAYS need an adapter/mount on the fork but NOT always on the frame (depending on what size rotor you are using and what the frame was designed for). LT-Woo have done the opposite so with these calipers you will ALWAYS need an adapter/mount on the rear but NOT always on the front. If you pause at 4:26 you can see what I mean, if they were using 140 rotor that mount would not be required and the caliper would bolt directly to the fork. So they will fit a flat mount frame-set by design, however it could be an issue for people who have older post/IS frames who wish to use this system as Post/IS to Flat adapters are available but they would not work with this design.

Yes and no. The big brands are so established it's never going to be a major threat because people also like warranties that are fast. @ChinaCycling2 жыл бұрын
But I don't think they offer much advantage over rim brakes. The braking force is incomparable to fully hydraulic.
@Nobody-Nowhere2 жыл бұрын
@@ChinaCycling Any brake can lock the tires, the braking force is not the issue.. its the control. Rim brakes are way more powerful than any disk brake anyhow, as the diameter of the "disk" is so much bigger and it also takes out the flexing of the spokes. That's why trial people use rim brakes, they are way more powerful than disks. The main benefit of disk brakes is the control, and maybe the actual biggest benefit is that your expensive rims are not going to wear out anymore. The last reason is why i use disks on all my bikes.
