Nice Job! I would like to see more detail. I go in for back surgery in 3 weeks and plan on watching more of your podcast. Thanks for all the help on my 1932 Ford pickup. I look forward to starting back on my pickup in early summer. Thanks again.

Really NICE work on the 32 truck interior ,look's Great and well thought out to get the Most room by moving the steering wheel location, out of these tight pickup cabs ! Seat look a lot better as well ,just look correct for the cab !

Nice job on the cab reupholstery Derek, like yourself I too am not a fan of the use of screws and cup washers. I do use Velcro in some areas, mostly on panels that are not regularly in need of removal. I must say that I'm not anywhere near 6' 2" tall , but at 5'10" I found my old '29 Model A pick-up a real squeeze !! Thanks as always for sharing, look forward to the next update 👍🇬🇧.

Enjoy your vacation both, it's grey, windy and looks like we're going to have a wet evening down here in the South West of England .

Well that looked simple enough until I try. I don’t get a wrinkle free finish. Maybe I’m using to thick of a backing material. Anyway that truck of yours is spot on. The seat itself turned out great. Let alone the headliner. I did give my sowing machine that I inherited from my late cousin to my daughter to take to a car boot sale. But it didn’t sell and came back home. So I’ll keep on trying. Cheers both. Best wishes. Tim.

@@timferriss905 one trick we learned was to glue the foam to the vinyl too. It helps with wrinkles. Sometimes you get one. Check out some of the professional jobs and they get them too.

Cheers thanks for the advice. I did try to re cover an old sofa, but it looked terrible. I thought at first it was my measurements. Anyway I was going to give in but somebody is telling me not to. So I won’t give up..cheers again.

Nice work i am in the build process on my 34 Ford pickup how did you attach the wood around the rear window maybe panel bond ?? Thanks lots of good info on your videos .
@coldstreamrodshop2 ай бұрын
@@_johnnyc_ we replaced all the wood with beaded panels tack welded to the sheet metal. This stiffened the back up without need for the wood. The rear window is held in place by the original metal frame and urethane glass glue.

@@coldstreamrodshop im talking about the upholstery wood around rear window frame ?
@coldstreamrodshop2 ай бұрын
@@_johnnyc_ ok sorry, we used plastic upholstery pins that attached to two vertical 1 x 1 square tubing pieces we put from the floor to the roof flange. These hold the wood in place.
