Excellent video Brandon :) also Dad Strength and Dad lots team work plus when putting bolts on GP on water hose hook up use thin layer of Anti Seize on threads of bolts so be easily get next time and on hose rubber to metal use thin layer of grease or Vaseline so slip on nicely plus easily take off!

O GEEEZ, OK I will chime in here . First When we rebuilt my uncles 1943 A the front half of the A came of before engine take down began BABBIT ? ABSOLUTLY NO PITS OR SCARING IS ALLOWED !CYLINDRES ARE THE SAME ! NO RUST OR PITS OR SCARS. FACTORY TOLRANCE MUST BE FOLLOWED ! THIS IS FOR ANYONE THAT HAY WATCH THIS SERIES. Great videos Thanks

The governor gears must be a matching pair with the fan shaft and shimmed. I have rebuilt several of them, all you need a a press and some patience.

Exactly, back lash has to be set on the bevel gears. A similar process as a pickup rear end.

Welding two parts together, to get good penetration the parts are v'd or at least wire wheeled clean. Welding a nut to a broken stud no matter how long or short most of the time it is a fail because it looks like no one cleans the stud and nut they just buzz the two together and hope.
