1943 Willys MB Jeep Trailer Towing Hitch Receiver Fabrication | Welding | CJ2A | ASMR

Hello! In this video I’ll be creating a custom receiver hitch for our 1943 Willys MB project. The owner requested a modern hitch be added to this vehicle, and I work to create a hitch that's strong and safe enough to handle anything the jeep can handle, as well as something that can be retrofitted back to original configuration without too much effort. Trying to avoid the nickname “Bubba” if I can haha.

Just curious if you knew the polarity of your welder is supposed to be reversed for fluxcore? Keep up the good work. The jeep is gonna look great

Yes - I did research that and polarity is currently set up appropriately for welding with shielding gas. There are certainly a lot of variables to get right for successful welding: wire speed, nozzle distance, proper ground, and how much shielding gas is coming out, among others. I look forward to learning and practicing more and trying to hone my skills. Thanks for the positive feedback!
