Some early trucks only came with a driver's side visor or maybe none at all. It's nice to be able to buy all you need to install a visor.

Your videos are great. The best how to videos for working on these classics. Have you ever considered doing a tutorial on converting from a generator to an alternator for a 59 GMC?

are you guys over at brothers gonna make a visor bracket that extends,like the new visors? cause when I have the sun on my driver's side the visor only stops half the sun from coming in.

49 Chevy with a new cardboard headliner. Is there enough room for the spring to fit in the corner?

Where can I find those exact sun visors? I've looked on the Brother's site, but can't find them. I have already wasted money on worthless visors for my '59 Apache 32, where I'm told to bend the rod to provide friction to keep them up...not at all like originals. Leave it to Dave, once again, to show me the light! So, how do I obtain a black set of authentic repros like the ones in this video?

Great video as always. I have a question about an older video. I watched your how to on replacing the window weather strip in the door, does the glass have to be removed to do the sections that go in the guide tracks inside the doors? Sorry if this is off topic
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV2 жыл бұрын
that depends on the year,make,model of the truck you're working on. The early trucks had the front channel glued in and the replacement has to be glued as well, so that would require the glass to be out in order to accomplish. Later trucks, 1967 and up (possibly some of the 64-66 too) you can typically do the channels without removing the glass. It's more of a struggle, but it can be done.

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV sorry for not saying. I have a 66 c10
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV2 жыл бұрын
@@maggs131 It's worth a try doing the channels without the glass out on your '66. The front channel in the divider between the vent and the glass will be the most difficult.

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV thanks for the replies man. 👍 Do these channels need adhesive or is it a press fit?
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV2 жыл бұрын
@@maggs131 Technically it should be glued, but you can almost always get away with just pressing them in.

thanks again Dave..... question: is the driver side visor the same as the passenger? I only have one on my 1965, but doesn't seem to want to fit properly. made me wonder if i have a passenger side one. Thanks

59 apache 3100. Bought some new arms for some newer OEM replacement visors because one of them would swing out whenever i punched the throttle and the rods freely/loosely slide in and out of the visors. Like complete failure not even functional. Seems if I bend the arms, the RH and LH may end up at different heights and look like crap. Any ideas?

Clearly youve never owned a Black vehicle with black interior. Black is Way more difficult to keep clean vs White. You would think dirt would show worse on white, but its even worse on black.
