Great tips! There were actually a handful of tips you mentioned that I didn’t know about/hadn’t thought of before. Thanks!

I don't know why, but playing in high sens helps my tracking and recoil control much better. (i used to play on low sens and i struggle with tracking and recoil control)

Yeah understandable. I preferred high sens on console back in the bo2 days and then switched to low sens on pc. Some people just prefer it and if that's what works for you, I wish I was you haha. Doing 180s to kill people behind me is awful and I envy high sens players, I just panic too much and can't handle it like the majority of other players. Good luck in your games brother

Did it hurt yes but I cant get better without noticing my mistakes. I just wish I could play 10+ hours every day lol. I can only play here and there

@mediumhotregular asking for help is one of the best things you can do, so many people will automatically blame their teammates or luck but you went out of your way to seek the publics opinion and that shows me that you have a ton of potential. I don't see you staying stuck in Plat for very long with that mindset, you'll be master before you know it. Best of luck in your games brother

What I want to know is what buttons do I push to cancel my rampart ult to refund it for Xbox. Both you and gaming merchant brought it up but never said how. Gaming merchant specifically didn’t say how to on controller.

hi bro so i wanted some help i am farely new to apex and have like 70 hours in the game, i am at a point where i can say my aim is amazing due to my earlier gaming experience,yet i lack a ton in terms of game sense and map utilization and well different movement techs in the game i have been maining wraith because i find her very comfy to play as and i can always get out of sticky situations what do you think i should be maining i can do decent basic movement not the movement techs and i ahve good aim,also i am decent at helping teammates in getting kills
@skives2070
@skives2070 9 ай бұрын
Wraith is an incredibly powerful main. If you get good with her you will never need to play another character. What other games do you play? CS2, valorant, and cod all focus on flicking on target, where apex is 99% tracking aim. Try aim lab on steam for free and see how you compare to others. For movement, there are a ton of movement tutorials online. The easiest of the few to learn are supergliding, tap strafing, and superjumping. Get good with these but just pracising them in game when youre not in a fight just running around. For game sense, It is almost impossible to teach someone because it is all subconscious. I dont actively think "what will the enemy do next", my brain automatically comes up with a prediction and the longer you play, the better your brain will get at predicting. The best thing to do, is to put yourself in the enemies shoes, and if you were in their position, what would you do? for map utilization, I would say just make sure you keep height a lot and use jump towers often to keep in ring. It also helps to run a recon or defensive legend to find enemies or the next ring. A really good defensive legend is rampart, if you want to try her out. If you havent watched part two of this video, that could help a lot too :)

@@skives2070 ayy thanks alot for the tips man As for the games that I have played I have been playing fps games since childhood, cs2 valorant, rainbow 6 and as for tracking you're correct I can track because I have played a decent bit call of duty and of battle royals so the aiming part is not really a problem with me I did learn how to super glide, but mines feel slower than the people in the video maybe it's because they all do it on octane and stuff And I am like struggling with fatigue. This game's movement is well according to what I saw, really based on keeping the momentum, which I struggle with, sometimes I'd hit insane movement clips but 80% of the other times it's really bad I am improving by the way I did go from getting no kills to like doing a few 1 v 3s and winning a few games
@skives2070

If you want any help with movement, you can join a firing range with me one day and I can teach you. I'm not as cracked as faide or aceu but I know how to do them lol. There is also a website that ill link that teaches you how to superglide consistently by getting the time just right. You have to crouch exactly one frame after jumping at the right time, and this website will tell you your odds of hitting the super glide based on the framerate of your game. apexmovement.tech/superglidetrainer/ after about 5 to 10 mins of pracising you should be able to get the timing down and hit 60-90% of your attempts.

@@skives2070 ayy thanks alot bro, for all the help, I'd love to like practice with you, but sadly, I am a student, so I don't think we could really fix times But I'd definitely try out the website It get it now, how I was doing superglides was that I had inverted my spacebar, and as a few youtubers said I was supergliding with both of them pressed at the same time so I was slow, thanks alot for the tips my guy, imma sub. Hope you get big like faide and aceu

@@demykun5750personal opinion, not talking bad about aim lab but if your a pc i recommend to look about R5 Reloaded, it is a mod from earlier season of apex and it provides a aim trainer and 1v1s in it also maps dedicated to train specific movements, i would say about the aim trainer, its the best you get for apex legends, They have exercises to train tracking on Valk Ult, On Octane Jumpad and strafe / many others

I should do a tier list video, That would be a pretty cool idea. Which character do you main now? I highly suggest playing as conduit. She is incredibly helpful for you team and yourself. She can heal her armor in very little time giving you time to heal your health at the same time, and having teammates alive helps you stay alive too. I went from a wraith main, to a horizon main and now I am a conduit main. She is just too powerful to look over. If you are looking for a more fun character, octane is an absolute blast, easy to use and can rotate very fast.

Saw this comment and wanted to give advice too! If you aren't a lore kind of person that needs to enjoy their character's story / aesthetic / personality then here's legends from every class I recommend for beginners: Skirmisher Octane - The easiest skirmisher legend to pick up. Simple kit that 'levels up' as you get better at the game. (Don't fall in the trap of relying on self-heal) Revenant - Same as Octane. Rev also teaches you the importance of playing cover due to his hitbox. Recon Bloodhound - easy kit to understand, lots of info. Vantage - if you really like snipers then vantage is a pretty solid pick. You can ping an enemy to call out the state of their squad. Assault These boyos have extra munition so if you struggle with ammo they can be a good pick. But be mindful of picking up bad inventory habits from that. Fuse - Grenade spam and mayhem. Easy kit to understand. Mad Maggie - Easy and pretty fun kit. Plus if you really like shotguns you get an automatic speedboost when using them. Controller These legends have more difficult kits that require playtime and some know-how. Catalyst - easiest kit among them to make good use out of. Secure doors, place traps, ult that blocks visibility for safe getaways / revives. Support Loba - her market ult can guarantee you always have a weapon you like in your hands and hella ammo. You can also give Mirage a try. His kit is really fun and thanks to the perk system pretty good now too.

I will say that the worst part of jitter aiming is getting arthritis in your wrist so if you’re mnk, just abuse recoil smoothing and general recoil control.

Comment about low sense is not viable. Its personal preference and while slow sens might give u advantage on precision while aiming longer distances its absolutely kills your possibilities to react fast close plays or make them properly including advanced movements. Games like cs or valorant are good for slow sens while you can oneshot hs anyone from any distance, but thats not the case on this game. At least imo.
@skives2070
@skives2070 9 ай бұрын
I'll admit you have a point for controller. But for pc, a slower sens is always better. Ensuring your tracking is accurate is much more important than flicking speed. Even on cs people hit crazy millisecond flicks with low sens, up to 180 degrees. I'm not saying anyone should be playing with 0.15 sens because that makes the game impossible. A good range is 0.75 to 1.25 with 800 dpi. Many people play at like 2.5 at up to 1600 dpi. A couple others mentioned that once they switched to a lower sens, they started hitting way more shots.

I was high sensitivity Andy for the longest but after picking aim trainers, i too came to the realization it is pointless, serves no real benefits and may screw you up more often than anything. I love how you say "PC player jitter aim" as if 70% are not already AA crutches plugging roller. Even then, a bit misleading since it is a hard and very situational mechanic and mostly works with low firerate guns. Most wont be able to jitter past Flatline/Havoc let alone R3 or SMGs.
@skives2070
@skives2070 9 ай бұрын
yeah true enough, Once you get a hang of it though its pretty easy w the flatline, which is a very common gun to use. It is mostly for long range, so I dont see why anyone would want to for the r99 anyway. Its just a good way of controlling recoil, and worth a mention imo.

Muscle memory in FPS is a myth, it's all about mouse control.
@skives2070
@skives2070 9 ай бұрын
so how do you get better with mouse control? I remember a guy talking about aiming a bit ago when I was trying to learn more about it and he told everyone that it wasn't muscle memory, it was procedural memory, which is literally the exact same thing haha. Muscle memory pays a large part for flicking to different opponents, because if you were to give a pro player double the sensitivity, they would not perform nearly as well as if you didnt change their sens. They will of course adapt quite quickly because they have been moving their mouse for a very long time, but it certainly is muscle memory. Of course I could be wrong, but Ive looked into it quite a bit. If you have a study or article or video or something saying that muscle memory is a myth, ill check it out because it would be a cool read.

Every tip is good besides the fov one in my opinion. Although 110 is best for seeing what’s around you, it also makes the targets a lot smaller so if you don’t already have excellent aim, this is just gonna hinder you more. Imo a fov of 104 is perfect balance.
