1950 Chevy Truck (Ep 68) Lower Door Seal Retainer

Today we will be installing what is probably missing on 75% of the Chevy trucks of this era, the lower door seal retainer. The retainer screws to the bottom inside of the doors at the bottom to retain the weather-stripping.

I have a 1951 GMS in restoration. The engine, transmission, rolling chassis are all complete. I have to do finishing work on cab and bed. I am looking fro information on how best to reinstall the Cab and the Bed, Is there a hunting kit for them? are there some simple instructions for mounting the cab to the frame? Can you help me?

I have a video of the cab install. It is actually not that bad and pretty easy to line up. The bed can be tricky since it mounts through the bed boards but once you have it sitting on the spacers on the frame inching it forward a little at a time takes the stress out of it. @@davidmorton8004 The owner of the truck had rebuilt the spring perches for the back of the cab so I just had to bolt them back up. The front just has rubber pads, washers and a bolt. The screws came with the retainers I believe. I am sorry I don't recall but they were fairly small.
