My 64 C10 had a 327 for the first 4 years when I got it. Love the 327. This one sounds great and looks like it runs great.
@RealWorldGarage3 жыл бұрын
It does. It’s been reliable as dirt. The only issue with this car is the steering needs some work. Drives like an old Ford LOL.

Build quality on 54s was exceptional and ball joint suspension gave much better handling than previously.

When you popped the hood I was correct about the engine sound and understand why it was so hard to start
@RealWorldGarage9 ай бұрын
Cute. It was so hard to start from sitting and fuel evaporating from the carb. It cranks and runs perfectly. But thanks anyway.

Where did you get your rims? I can’t find 15 inch cragers with 4-1/2 inch lug spacing.
@RealWorldGarage9 ай бұрын
Had them for nearly 30yrs. They were given to my father in law. The steel outer part was heavily rusted but the aluminum center looked great. (Showing age now) so my father in law painted the steel part bright silver. They looked ok, but one day his business partner was messing around with some 15” trim rings and suggested my father in law pop them on. Well he did and the rest is history. They are have a one off look to them. We replaced the center caps with the 3 spoke Crager spinner caps last year. Have you looked on eBay?? And keep a close eye on FB market place, I see them pop up occasionally. Thanks for watching and commenting.

My dad's second car was a 1954 convertible, around 1980 he asked if he should buy one he was interested in, as a teenager I said yes but the deal wasn't done.

I knew when it wouldnt start and by the sound it was a chevrolet engine 😂 should have kept the y block, wouldve fired up before you could let go of the key!! Still a good looking car tho

Ford Chevy or dodge it doesn’t matter with this ethanol in the gas it evaporates to fast so you let it sit a couple weeks there no gas in the carb and it has to refill the bowls. Yea it’s a 327 Chevy. Let me ask you this, where am I going to find parts on a road trip if the fuel pump goes out, or any parts for a 54 Ford??? That SBC, I can get parts at any parts store in America. It’s backed up with a built 700r4, and 3:54 gear. It runs 70 down the interstate under 2300rpm 18mpg. This car was built to drive.
