I would say 3850 is about right for a B31 I was looking at prices last year and they were between 3000 for a scruffy runner needing plenty of work and 4000 for something in very good condition not needing anything but a bit of polish.

If my memory serves me right, I paid around £10 for for the same one as this in around 1966. Bullet proof and good for around 70 MPH plus.

That's a nice quiet engine you forget how rattly aluminium engines can be and how quiet an iron engine can be
