1 of the 1st trucks I remember my Dad driving. Tractor w/ a single axle fuel oil trailer for Mobil Oil back then, they replaced it with a Ford C300 coe. He drove for Mobil for 36 years.

That's awesome! I think I looked at this truck once, found it on Craigslist out near tri cities airport. Ended up buying a 55 f350 and doing the cummins swap. Nice truck man looks good.

Nice seeing an old Ford tractor like this! The power-stroke was originally built by International, but tensions got hot between both parties , and Ford made their own power-stroke after parting ways w/Int'l.The Cummins is a nice swap and the old Dayton wheels look sharp. The first diesel Ford had was an F-8 for sale overseas w/a Hercules diesel. The Cummins along British built Ford Dagenham diesels were used in the C series, until the 1160 and 3208's came out. The sixes took up valuable cargo space on straight jobs as they protruded out the cab back.

Nice truck. I think you should bring up the height of the front axle so the truck sits evenly. To bad it didn’t have air brakes.

well howdy. It's a real small world considering I'm hunters friend, the one buying the 350 you pulled from the c30 wrecker.

+Tyler Ridings we should also be able to get in there next week and get it out , if you have a carb , starter , flexplate , and a distributor , we can start it easily , the valves are way out of adjustment as it has a solid lift cam in it , and I put off adjusting them knowing I was pulling it out anyways , I would not run that cam if i was you , as they have to be adjusted every 1,500 - 2,000 miles to keep them right ,and even adjusted correctly a solid has lots of valvetrain noise to boot , I would swap in a hyd cam and be done with it , only reason I ran that solid was the fact I had it , and it was new , and I could not bring myself to buy something I already had basically ....

+towrecker I was curious when I may be able to get the engine? I'm pretty desperate for it right now as I'm on spring break from college this week and I was hoping to get it in one day soon.

I like most of it... like anyone, got to put a few miles on before finishing or lose interest in it. I think it could of been even nicer had it been maybe (not sure as I wasn't there) a cab off and find the fine lines as it could be measured to the nats butt to fit tight.... er. A working two speed would be the jam. An as far as the t case, don't mark off not finding a front axle that would slide over the perches...like a dana 60 maybe
