Nice looking RJ35! The front sickle bar is very cool!

Thanks, I think I need to update it with the proper Schnake recoil and a belt guard for the sickle bar.

Hi I'm looking to sell my late husbands ride a way wheel horse. Not sure what model. Do you know any collectors that might be interested? I'm in NJ. Thank you

I live in Ohio. You'd like to find somebody in your area, I'd go to www.wheelhorseforum.com and post a question there. It's a website called Red Square, by and for wheel horse collectors. Add some pictures to the question to find out what it is and it's possible value. Try to get opinions from different people that don't know each other. Value can vary greatly based on small details.

Hey, isn't this the RJ35 that came from Michael Martino by way of Tim LaPree and featured in the book "Straight From The Horse's Mouth" ? I forget the page number it was on.

Well, yes it is. It's on page 42 of the 1st edition and page 43 of the 2nd edition. When I got it, the hood was deformed from the weight of the fuel tank and we could compare it to the picture and verify it was the tractor in the picture (as the seller described). But I straightened out the hood. The rare Schnake recoil was not on it when I got it. I looked in the 3rd edition of the book and don't find the same picture, but on page 47 there's a picture of a tractor with a front mounted reel mower and it looks like the same tractor (with the deformed hood). I bought the tractor before the 3rd edition of the book was released so the seller couldn't show us that part. The tractor didn't come with any attachments, I added the sickle bar mower later.
