I love the International Harvester Scout that you are looking at ~ I'm a Diesel Mechanic by trade and served my Apprenticeship at International Harvester Company of New Zealand Ltd at their Hamilton branch from 1974 until 1977 and remember the Scout although not many were imported into New Zealand. At first I thought the scout was a 800A then you showed the inside and BAM! It’s actually a HALF CAB with a 800A top!!! The motor is literally the left side of a Chevy 350. It’s called a slant 4 if it fits a 350 it fits the slant 4. I’ve had 2 of them and they are awesome little trucks. The front axle is literally a rockwell axle in front of a Dana 20 Tcase. Great find guys
