A big pet peeve of mine is seeing a custom car with zero attention to the firewall, some even go the extra mile with a ls or LT swap and don’t bother to cover up the distributor hole, I personally stop looking that point, in this video I show you by step how to shave a firewall, this is obviously on my my 59 but the same basic rules apply to any vehicle, let’s get them firewalls right!

Great looking work as always 🙂 That's a big step from the stock firewall to the flat firewall. Lots of little details that have to be taken care of but it looks like you got them all covered. Car is starting to come together mow.

Good video.... Question are you gonna drill your holes for the vintage air before you paint the car I remember you did your 64... if you are can you make a video on that 👊🏽

@@frankyfrank6387 Thank you, I have a few options here, I think I’m going to just add a bulkhead to the firewall, if so then it would just be one big hole. The placement is where I’m having to make a decision on, the 59-60 lines run behind the fender well which I kind of don’t care for, I’m thinking I’m going to route them just like the 63/64, if I do it that way I won’t have to extend any hoses under the dash. I will make a video when the time comes 👍
