1960s mower. Part 1. Time to tear it down

I still have a few mowers with the points on them. The magnetron runs better without question. It is a steady more reliable spark has been my experience. But it's cool to have a few originals around. That engine looked fairly good in the guts for it's age. Enjoyed the first part! 🍻 Love the nostalgia of those engines! 😊 Back in the day when everyone threw their garbage in a pile at the dump, I can remember pulling radios and broken mowers, tillers, etc. We came back with more than we took sometimes...LOL. I was born in 66 and up until they started clamping down on people taking stuff out in the early 90's we did. The first TV I brought to electronics class in college came strait from the trashpile... LOL. Now I go to the scrapyard to buy junk mowers...LOL 🔧🍻
