196112. Another long zoom shot. Smethwick Galton Bridge, 09/07/24.

1G09 Shrewsbury - Birmingham New Street. The train was at the platform when I arrived, only filmed it as it was a 196 unit, haven't seen many of them. Once again, playing around with a long zoom shot, set some stabilisation, which gives a few jerky frames as I adjust the zoom setting. Also adjusted the sharpness to slightly improve the quality and make it easier to read the lettering showing the destination display.

Smethwick Galton Bridge is familiar to me, only because I change trains there to get to the Severn Valley Railway.

Hope the lift at the end of the platform works for you to get to the upper level for the Kidderminster train when you visit. It was working when I was there on the 13th.
