Hey there Ken. We haven’t heard from you for a while. Hoping that all is okay for you all. Guessing that you are out and about grafting. Brent looks to be making pretty good progress in getting his workshop back into place although it has obviously knocked him around. All those years of home making his own tools and machines are now memories. The fans and commercial houses have been kind to him which is great to see as well as his darling being by his side every episode now. He is a lucky man to have her and his family and mates all helping him along. This “Motor Community” that we live in is so great to be part of. Stay well Ken and I’m looking forward to seeing you, your family, Victor and your friends real soon. 🙏🏻

My heart aches for any fire victim. We lived through the " Mosquito" fire last yr, and many of my close friends and neighbors lost everything in that fire. We were at ground zero of a 74,000 acre fire that lasted over a month before it was under control! 😢 Spent 2 weeks under evacuation, the first week we didn't know if we still had a home!! The amazing thing is there were no deaths or serious injuries, and our community has rallied around the people that lost everything like you wouldn't believe. Brent will come through this stronger than ever, and the KZbin community will play a big part in his recovery. ❤ God bless you Waylon, and we sure do preciate ya!

It's hard to hear anyone lose their shop to fire, hopefully their insurance will play fair and enable them to at least get back to where they were before the fire, if not better. It's good to see the Dodgillac run the driveway, even though it wasn't happy on the way up...on the other hand, it does know how to "scatter some gravel" 😁 I'd have some pep in my step too if I had rides like that. Thanks for having us over.

We do have ethanol here in Australia. I won’t run it. It is cheaper. But I did hear exhausts don’t like it. It’s way cheaper to pay the extra for 91 octane than it is to replace the exhaust.

Has it really been 3 years? Boy, where did the time go. I watched Brent's video where he showed the destroyed shop. What a heart breaker. KZbinr Outlaw Edge lost a shop to fire recently also. All of us can't be too careful with fire prevention in our shops.....Oh, and I guess the detractors forgot the part of your intro where you flew down the driveway in the remnants of the old GMC flatbed with flat tires, no brakes, and sitting on an office chair duct taped to the frame.

Hey Ken, I've got a few questions: From the Video it looks like holes 1,3, and 7 have black soot on your copper pipes. But the others don't on the 454. Is that bad valve seals? Or bad valves? Also on the Dirty Dozen are you going to put in harden valve seats so you can run modern gasoline, when you rebuild the heads? Bart

WATER IN YOUR GAS ,NOWADAYS WE HAVE BAD GAS ,I HAD IT BEFORE ONCE ,l gassed up my car at a good station and before 1 mile from gas station it barely made it home for the next week I hade to remove fuel filter that was full of water ugh. God bless yall real good.

Hey Waylon, really enjoy all your videos. This is just a thought i had while watching this video. I think the old dirty dozen would look good with a complete hood. Maybe with some louvers on the sides... Well that's my idea. You can take this one and trash it or throw it in the drawer with all the other bad ideas. Anyway be careful out there.

I know I am repeating myself, but there are far better fuel lines than those cheap rubber things you keep using and having problems with. That stuff isn't even safe for a gravity-fed 3.5hp briggs lawnmower engine and you're using it it with a pusher pump?? PTFE lined hose with the braided exterior is excellent hose. All you have to do is buy it. That or keep a couple extra fire extinguishers on hand.

Have you checked the vacuum on each carb to make sure there’s not a big difference . A 6 foot cam dosent like a lot of odd stress . Just my thoughts, but go with the simple things first is my thought. I’m sure you can arkey something for it 👍

To make sure you turn on the electric fuel pomp, you could wire a tell tale light from the ignition feed to the active side of the pump. With the pump sw off, the lighy would ground through the pump and turn off when the pump sw is activated.

Going through a fire is not a good thing. I went through one 10 years ago and it was a good thing for insurance. That help replaced most but not everything can be replaced 👍👍

Many years ago(30) I was in Brent’s shoes and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, I lost a part store , front end alignment shop , tire shop, paint shop & all my race car parts and equipment on a June Monday morning while i was working . Nothing can possibly prepare a man for that and nothing ever replaces the things you lose in a fire , I really feel for this young man he seems to be one of the good ones !!!! Hopefully he is Treated right by the insurance companies and Helped tirelessly by friends and community!
