Sorry you had to go through all that back in 1999 me and my dad's shop burned to the ground lost everything tools and 30 modle a and 70 mustang convertible my first car . But no one was hurt and things can be replaced still frustrating. Had sent r Peek a note see if you were ok hadn't seen any videos from you he said he thought you were good but I see what you been doing now so wish you luck on your repairs.

Waylon, quit feelin sorry or mad at yourself! If you think you are upset, imagine what the Dodgillac would say. Now, ordinarily, I don’t believe that inanimate objects have emotions, but that rat rod is a notable exception. It has so much personality that has got to be really pissed at the current situation. Anyway, glad you are ok and your shop is still standing. I am sure that that wonderful rat rod will get better than it was before the fire. Us utubers shore do ‘preciate ya!

Hi Ken, Glad are alright. I been watching your channel long time. As you know, when you take a hit. You have to dust yourself off and get back to it. I took a hit Monday and I was beating myself up. Tuesday I was back at it and had good results. It's life, you have to kick back. It will get better.

Glad you did'nt loose your shop. Never ever use rubber hose on the pressure side of the fuel pump to the carb. I'll be watching this winter when you rebuild. Good luck & stay safe

Ken, 6 or 7 years ago I was looking for inspiration to get building my first rat rod and my kids told me to look on KZbin. I typed in how to build a Rat Rod and you were part way into the series on Let's build a rat rod. I watched every video and more. I found the inspiration and I am on my fourth rat rod now. Don't stop making videos because guys like me look forward to them.

Well i'm glad that we didn't lose you, and not so much the shop etc,. Whenever i come upon a tragedy i try to make a joke and look on the brighter, more thankful side of things and ease some of the pain. Even two weeks ago when i had a stroke i was laying in the hospital bed when they told me and everybody was all upset and concerned that i made a joke to try to lighten up everybody's mood and it worked. One of the Nurses asked me if there was anything they could do for me and i said, "Yeah, i'd like a cold beer and see something nekkid" and that broke everybody up laughing and that changed to mood with everybody. And i knew that i had made it and would be around a little longer and would just need to make a few changes and slow down and hang up my workaholic ways and just be a old Fart and take it easy. You'll figure out a way to get things back right and maybe come upon a opportunity to make a few cool upgrades. Either way you ain't running us off, we'll be there for ya Brother. And thanks for the videos, they do contribute to the betterment of our lives or we wouldn't be here.

Sorry to hear about the fire. Were all glad your ok. I had a very minor fire in my shop and it shook me up a bit thinking what could have been. I've been a welder my whole life now and had my share of fires, on me included. But when it was at home, boy did I look at it differently.
