Man, I'm used to seeing Burr as Perry Mason!!! One of the best parts is watching them try not to laugh! LOL

It's so funny when they can't hold their laughter back. Raymond Burr was trying so hard to not even smile but, he just couldn't cute the mustard. Cool skit.

My parents loved Red Skelton & I enjoyed him, too, growing up. Have been a die hard fan of Raymond Burr since high school, 50 years ago. Loved how Raymond tried so hard not to laugh & a couple of times started to lose his composure. I heard he was quite a prankster.

Red Skeleton he always laugh at his own jokes he and others always had more fun than the audience. You try to kiss me, I'll slap you. A hand gun, 🔪 a submachine gun, and a liverwurst sandwich. That sandwich probably the worst weapon of all because his girlfriend who is his gun Molly made it? I love all of the Red Skeleton TV episodes, he is the only one American Idol ever lived. He's a great comedy genius of all time. Oh Red Skeleton rest in ☮️ peace you are greatly missed. You can never be replaced, my parents and I watched you TV comedy shows in the 1970's.

A relative of these two, tryin' their dead level best NOT to bust gut and start laughin' their heads off is ...remember the Carol Burnett Show ?...I submit to the masses: Harvey Corman and Tim Conway often were in the same boat. That being:..trying so hard NOT to lose it and desolve into wild laughter. Any one care to agree with me ? -Grins- Have a good day and be safe y'all

This is so funny! I love it when people break during scenes! Some of what Red Skelton said was so ironic since Raymond Burr was a closet gay
@ronniemoon575 жыл бұрын
Why all the emphasis on him being gay.

@@ronniemoon57 That's part of why this is so funny, because we get the inside jokes.

"Don't you try to kiss me or I'll slap you!" "How do we get rid of the girl?" (Hilarious, because Raymond Burr was closet gay, and Skelton probably knew about it).

Of course. Those were called "inside jokes." Audiences then didn't know Burr was gay.

@@SR-iy4gg That's the difference between us. I actually met him, spent some time talking him, saw how astonishingly honest he was, saw Raymond and Robert together and how they related to each other. It WAS a father/son relationship, Robert addressed Raymond as 'Sir'. I have NEVER met anyone more passionate about honesty, truth and integrity. He was a very powerful man of God, and God used Him incredibly powerfully to change my life. But people don't care about the truth anymore. Do you?
@franksantore2810 Жыл бұрын
@@valerieellen2402 I would not care if Raymond were gay, straight or pink with purple dots. A great man, a great philanthropist. A rennaisance man: gourmet cook, art lover, vintner, developer. Visited the troops on the front lines in Korea and Vietnam WITHOUT PUBLIC FANFARE LIKE BOB HOPE. Supported many orphan children. This man deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom, our country's highest civilians honor.
