I fell in love with the 65 Impala SS when my cousin drove up in his brand new ‘65 SS in Regal Red and red interior. We chased a lot of college girls in that car. You have a gorgeous car.

1965 Chevy Impala was not only the #1 most selling Impala of all-time, it was the MOST selling car of ANY MODEL, with OVER 1 million units sold!!! (The Model T was a close second)This is a very pretty example. Don't know where you guys still find these, I live in the Northeast, and these cars DISAPPEARED sometime around the '80s here where I live, mostly due to the use of road salt in the winters. Nice to see a clean original SS, in its original colors with A/C to boot!! You won't sit on this one for too long. Thanks Guys, keep 'em comin'!!!

Very impressive sales for that year. But not the most global sales in one year buy a single model of car. Unless you think that the 2023 Tesla model Y is not a real car.

I agree with you too, but consider: These cars are WELL OVER 50 years old now, and EVERYONE wants them, INCLUDING people who weren't even BORN when it was NEW!! I was a toddler when this car was made. Until about 15 years ago or so, you could still find these cars UNDER $20K. Not any more. So much for the OLD times, Huh?? Best Wishes!!

definitely a bit overpriced, but then what do we expect from a dealer.

Classic car valuations went through the roof during the pandemic - but the pandemic is over. This car is nice but it's overpriced by about $10K.

It looks really nice. I thought it would have had a 327 instead of a 283. Color is nice buckets and console is a plus. Air conditioning works that pretty rare

Nice ride
@robertlowe78093 ай бұрын
Hopefully the new owner of whoever makes the purchase of this fine ride we'll have enough sense to take out that trunk mat and use spray rust inhibitor that can be sprayed on that surface rust and it will dissolve it once it's dried the new owner can have it speckled painted back to factory specs.

Not that it matters on my opinion but if I had the finances to make this purchase on this ride I would get rid of the mat in the trunk get a rust inhibitor to do away with the surface rust have it resprayed and then I would have a set of Dakota gauges that are super cool to put in there have the crank Windows changed to power windows have both bumpers straightened and rechromed do away with the bolts to give both bumpers a smooth look maybe change the rims out to some torque style rims change the steering wheel out to a thicker sportier steering wheel to be able to grip it better have the windows tinted then eventually have the engine changed to a big block 396 or have a 496 Stroker motor put in it and have the transmission built to handle the horsepower that it will have along with 373 gears.

Nice car, you really think that's still a 283 🤔 Even if it's original engine it probably is a 307 at the very least.

IN 65 THE ENGINES WERE 230 , 250 , 283 , 327 , 396 , 409 , THE 307 ARRIVED FOR 1967 , MY AUNT BOUGHT A NEW NOVA IN 1968 IT HAD A 307 !!!
@benkrom27373 ай бұрын
@@antoniohosino145 You think that engine is untouched 🤔. 307 IS a 283 with a 327 crank in it. Easy to keep original block and no one would know from the outside 💁♂️ Gm had a bunch of 283 blocks and a bunch of 327 crankshafts when they bumped the 327 to 350ci so they bumped the 283 to 307 !

Not in '65
@benkrom27373 ай бұрын
@@garybishop4030 Never said in 65, as I stated. Does anybody think that engine hasn't been touched. It has been 59 years and if that was my car I'd have the engine freshen up and copy what GM did and put a 327 crankshaft in that would give the car more overall power including more torque and have same original block and numbers. 283 was a great running engine but was also very under powered especially when mated to a 2spd transmission. Please read and understand previous comments. Never stated 307 was available from GM in 1965.
