Soooo cool. Building it on the ground is rough, but the good thing is that you can lay down on the job and no one will bother you. It's looking real good, you're gonna have it going in no time at all. Thanks for a great video. Stay safe.

My Dad's 67 327 /350hp vert he had back in the 70s and the 67 327 /350hp coupe we have both came with manual brakes. The coupe is an AC, power steering car. The L79 327/350hp was the highest horsepower hydraulic cam 327. Granted given the other mods a solid would not surprise me. In the C10s the pedal ratio on the manual brakes give more leverage than the power brakes, not sure if they used the same trick on Corvettes. IMO, Get it running and make a nice driver. I'd keep original parts with the car even if they don't go back on. I agree with the upgrades you are doing, and would likely ...gasp..convert to a 67 dual master brake cylinder.

Thanks for the details and advise. Precisely what I'm looking for. I took the day off just to make progress on the car while all the other projects sit and wait.

Probably not good to spray paint so close to the flamingos as they have sensitive lungs. Other than that I enjoy your videos. Brings up memories of when I did similar car stuff in my much younger years.

Why shorty headers instead of long tube?
@Karolilalu5 ай бұрын
Mainly so I can add those flex isolators to the exhaust system (side pipes). Without them, you can get some serious vibrations. Plus, the Stainless-steel headers look great. Yes, sacrificing some horsepower but I'm OK with that.

I love this corvette, looks rough and tough old school style..I would like to see it legit enough to haunt the Autobarn 😎.. The Flamingo's look dodgy, don't trust em🦩
