1967 Volkswagen Beetle Found At Estate Sale. VW Bug.

A couple weeks ago I went and checked out this 1967 Beetle that my buddy Tyler had heard about here in town. The owner passed away and the family was in the process of settling the Estate. Tyler made a deal on the car based off the photos I sent him and today we went to pick it up. The car has been in the family since new and originally came from California. We were told the owner only took the car around the block a couple times every summer and that the 62K miles shown on the odometer were original miles. Thanks for watching. JC.

Brother and I had a powder blue 67 in the mid-70s during high school in Idaho falls. Scoured JC Whitney catalog for parts.

I met my future wife in 1972 she was driving a purple 1967 bug. Don't have the car but still have her!

And I bet your wife has cost you an absolute fortune whereas the Bug would have had absolutely minimal outlays because of their reliability also the Bugs value would be going through the roof but you be struggling to give your wife away even with a ton of steak knives included.

There are millions of Baby Boomers that would love to be able to own a Bug again as a hobby to bring back memories when motoring was cheap , simple , and life was fun , that beutiful air cooled motor and that slick gearbox and the minimalist interior .

I’m a boomer and my Dad was a Volkswagen guy. Why I bought a ‘73 a few years ago, that sound, shape and smell bring back such great memories. Took my wife for a drive in it this afternoon.

@@ekimp252 All the surfboard riders here in Australia backing the 60's and 70's had Bugs or Combi's , one , totally capable in sand , two , indestructible despite probable lack of maintenance because boardriders had no love of cars except Volkswagons , no rattles , built to last on the Russian Front and the North African Desert , no boil , no frozen radiator , Volkswagons greatest asset , air cooled .

Were there different bumper styles issued in 1967 for bugs? My first car was a 67 bug in the 70's and it didn't have those tubes on the bumpers. On line image shows them both with and without the bumper tubes.
