Hi, thanks for the very usefull video!! One additional question, i have the problem, my gearbox is loosing oil on the axels. Please can you tell me the needed oil sealing part numbers? thank you very much, kind regards.

What’s the difference between this transmission and the 3-speeds?

The 3 and 6-speed transmissions differ from the 4 and 8 speeds in that the brake drum shaft is in a different location. Most or all of them are physically interchangeable on the outside except that the brake rod link would have to be changed or modified.

Eric B / ebinmaine i have a 953, is it possible to adapt any of these “square bodied” transmissions to my tractor?

@@dcacmc3693 All of the tractors in our fleet are the square hood mid-60s or the B and C series of the 70s. I'm not super familiar with the 953 or 1054 tractors but I think the only difference is the axle length of the 953 or 1054.
