This beautiful 1968 Corvette in a perfect Black Onyx finish, belongs to my friend Roy Vega of Ocala.
He's the third owner of this flared and cammed Vette with a 383 under the hood, although plans call for a 572 Big Block generating 435 horsepower.
The car bodywork and paint were done in California by Los Amigos Body Shop of Long Beach. They painted the car a deep and glossy Black Onyx per the second owner's instructions, even though it came off the assembly line sporting a British Green paint job, which was the most popular color for that model year.
The transmission is the original 4-speed box it was born with, and the original soft top is still under the convertible hatch. A new black canvas top will be installed sometime in the future.
One of the previous owners also added 1969 factory side pipes that sound incredible and look so right on this car.
Roy drives and enjoys his '68 Corvette as much as possible.
Thank you for watching! 🙂👍🏻
