Hi Sherry, If I ever decide to sell the car I will keep you in mind. I go to a lot of car shows, if I ever see one for sale I'll let you know. Good luck !!

Very interesting car. Wait a minute, that's a Ford dashboard; the wheel covers look like they are from a '65 Galaxie, and there's the Montcalm script on the rear fender. Ah! It's a Canadian Meteor! Now I get it!
@jiggermanca7 жыл бұрын
Hi William, It`s a Meteor Montcalm made by Ford Motors of Canada. The Us equivalent would be the Mercury Monterey.

Hi, I wonder if there is a chance this car was in Merrit BC in 1972, I almost bought an identical one, but couldn't swing it as I was 17 years old working part time in a gas station, I regretted it ever since....
@jiggermanca8 жыл бұрын
+Terry Strain. Hi Terry, the car is from Quebec. My boss bought it new in 1968 and sold it to me in 1990. Not the same car. Cheers, James

i have a chance to buy one but it has a 289 in it what would be a good motor to put in it and would it be a hard swap
@jiggermanca9 жыл бұрын
+Tj Palmer Hi, options on this car was the 302 small block and the larger 390 and 428 engine. Easy enough swap if you have the chain block to remove the motor and tranny. Just remember the 302 engine uses a C-4 transmission and the 390 and 428 use the C-6 transmission. If the 289 has a 4 bbl carburetor I would leave it as is, the 289 does have plenty of power.

Hi there. If you ever change your mind about selling this car, or your daughter and her husband decide to sell it at some point down the road, please, please contact me. We had a car just like this one when I was growing up, It was even the same colour. My parents had to sell it, unfortunately. I would love to surprise them with it someday. If you ever decide to sell, please contact me.
