Thank you for making this video (and part 2, the install). I have an MGB and need to replace the triangular-shaped rubber seal (a.k.a. gasket) around the vent window. Seeing the steps you took make me more confident that I will be able to do that job. My question is: can I do this without removing the entire quarter light assembly from the door frame? From watching your video I get the impression that I could do it in the following way: Remove the door panel to get access to the spring-loaded stud. Remove the nut and spring from this stud, with the quarter light still mounted in the door (as shown from 12:30 onward). Then remove the vent window from the quarter light. Now I have access to the rubber seal and can replace it (which I couldn't see in detail in your video). Then re-assemble in reverse sequence. Would this work, or am I overlooking something?

Sorry I haven't responded to this yet. You might be able to do it that way. I remember having a tough time pressing the window into the seal so that might be tricky without removing the frame from the car. Let me know if it works out for you.
