My Uncle Casey had one of these wagons. It was awesome riding in it with my cousins. Loved looking out the roof. I tried to get my dad to buy one, but he said no...lol.

I had one of these in 1983. I had to sell it because I couldn't get it to run! It vapor-locked almost every time I drove it .. I liked the car - when it ran!!

I love the dashes on these. The easy going music created a want for these cars. The 455 would have been engine of choice. Or the 400.

Had one with no third row seat. It was a pile when I got it in '81 but I wish I could have kept it>>very rusty and the gas tank rusted out making it undriveable. Parted it out in '86.

That wouldn't have been a Vista Cruiser, all Vista Cruisers came with third row seating, they were on a stretched wheelbase. You probably had the Cutlass Station Wagon on the shorter wheelbase.

Knew a family from our church that had a brand new "70 Vista Cruiser.. was I ever JEALOUS because we had a crappy '70 Ford Custom 500 Ranch wagon, which SUCKED compared to that fabulous Vista Cruiser!
