I once owned a '68 Roadrunner, red /red stripe tires. Bought it in the spring of 1970 with 16,000 miles on it for $2295. Where has the time gone?

I have a 68 Roadrunner right now four-speed car I put a 440 six pack in it, also have a 68 satellite convertible 68 was one of the best years for the roadrunner

The 1968, 69 and 70 year models were the best Road Runners in my opinion. I owned a 1970 back in 73 and 74 loved it my favorite car. Had to trade in Jan 75 gas got to expensive. How I wish I would have some how kept it. Plymouth Road Runner one of the great American classics.

Wile E. Coyote often looks similar to how he was drawn at times in the 1972 Filmation crossover "Daffy Duck and Porky Pig Meet the Groovie Goolies." At least subsequent commercials form the Seven Arts era were directed by Bob McKimson, and so Wile E. was more on-model then.

I was about to say, this commercial was clearly the last project that Alex Lovy was assigned to do at Seven-Arts; here, the coyote looks like his representation from the Larriva shorts, with a bit of that cheap Lovy touch.
