Anyone who was an adult or late teenager and was car knowledgeable in the late 60's or early 70's knows that THE color on the Big Buick's was...that Candy Root Beer color GM brilliantly put on those 225's......nothing like it. That paint job defined that Era at GM...... if

1. Why don't you replace the broken turn signal switch? 2. Why don't you show us that the A/C compressor works? The fan motor is no big deal, the A/C IS a big deal.

Beautiful car, great styling. Classic white with a black vinyl "toupee" roof. But then OMG the door opens and that green interior! Horrible color combination. But if the exterior was green, it would be amazing. My dad had a 1968 Wildcat, but it was a sedan, not a hardtop. I think the exterior redo for 1969 brought the styling to another level. The '68 was a nice style, but the '69 looked trimmer and more streamline.

If I stand back 20 feet and squint, I see a lot of details that remind me of my 1965 Cadillac. Wonder if they saved some of the tooling for the 1969 Buick Electra 225 (which was so much classier than the butt-ugly 1969 Cadillac).
