Doing this with my 66 right now, thanks for the tip about letting it sit in the car for awhile to mold it a bit more.

It is a strange colour combination but I think it's great. Really makes the car look and smell awesome! Great job Rich.

It is bizaarro for sure, love it or hate it keeping that factory 60's vibe going, I think the seats will calm down all that green. Thanks Stevie, have a great weekend.

Yes , I try and only do cars that are mostly rust free, makes it easier, this one has particularly nice floors.

Looks great Rich I have bought carpet from A.C.C a couple time my last 1 was for my 82 gt . It is the worst fit I ever seen sent them pics and e mails and got no wear with them I was so disappointed :(

Joe, Thank you. When was that ? They are usually pretty good about responding. Give me the details and when it was, let me see what I can do. Did you buy it direct from them ? email me rich@mustangconnection.com

The new carpet looks like a trimmed lawn in the video! So the front seats on a 69 were not adjustable at all? :"( Meaning one can't move the seats forward or backward or adjust the tilt of the back support and such?! Keep going with the car updates Rich! Good work! Pete :")

Haha, I know it looks like a lawn in there without the seats. Yes the seat track is attached to the seats they are adjustable. Thanks for watching!

Thank God the seats are adjustable! That would have effected my dreams! My legs won't reach the pedals if they weren't! Kinda short in stature! Pete :")

Rich Thx for the vids. Q: how much was the budget to restore the 69 Mustang? I'm seriously considering purchasing one but wasn't sure if just buying one restored would be a better option vs a ground-up restoration. Live and work close to the Valley. Would LOVE to come see your work! Thx.

In most cases it is way less expensive to buy a "done" car. I do mostly all of the work myself and have wholesale accounts and contacts and subcontractors for some body work, paint and mechanical so my costs are less than someone paying a jobber rate to complete a car like this. If you plan on doing it yourself or some of it then it can certainly pencil out.

Haha, it does, one of the oddest interiors I have ever seen from the factory on a '69 . Went ugly early on this one.
