Yes it can be a DIY job and I have tried them before but this thing came out looking factory. Very pleased with the results.

Really nice video, very informative. However, I want to ask you since I’m about to install a new headliner in my Boss, how did he “pinch this up here” at 6:38? What keeps the front of the headliner stay in this groove? I was sure this was kept in place by overlapping the pinchweld, but apparently it’s not. And when I checked my car today, there were no “teeth” either (as above the sail panels). Thank you in advance Regards from Sweden 🇸🇪

Yes in this case it sure is hard to argue with experience, gives it a factory appearance.

Those style headliners are not easy to do. I remember doing one back in the 80's we had a navy brand contact adhesive that was awesome but dont mess up cause it didnt come apart.

Well they are made out of spring steel so that would be tough.
