1969 Mercury Marquis Commercial - Filmed in New York - BETTER QUALITY

The Sedan is driving on Park Avenue while the red Convertible appears to be in Flushing Meadow Park with the USA Pavilion in the background. The film of the Colony Park Wagon is entirely done in Central Park in the center of NYC.

My grandparents had one, had a 460 and drank gas like crazy they gave it to my dad and bought a Granada in 1975.

Actually, I'd have liked to have seen them puttin the cougar on the sign even though it was likely only a few feet off the ground. 👍🤠

Not a Hokie TV commercial for 1969. My dad owned the exact Green metallic Mercury Marquis Brougham in the commercial in front of UN 🇺🇳. Lincoln Mercury was asserting that the Marquis could be used as a UN diplomat’s Town Car. That was true re: it was a superb driver & floated down the highway like a Continental or a Caddy.
