1969 Mustang Mach 1 Gets 2.5" Exhaust Tips! - Comparisons, Measurements, and Install!

I finally got 2.5" exhaust tips for my 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1! I'm doing a full install in this video including looking at what is the best distance to install them from the rear valence. The current exhaust is long tube headers to a pypes 2.5" system. I'm running Pypes racepro mufflers on the car.
There are limited options when you are looking for good 2.5" tips that match the look of the original 1969 Mustang. I found these, but they were expensive! I'm going to go through a DIY of installing them and looking at the right measurements to locate them for an original look.
The car is a 1969 Ford Mustang with a 390 and a Top loader 4 speed.

I put the same tips on mine. At the time they were $150 for the pair (for 2-1/2” pipe). That was about 5 years ago. I thought that was crazy expensive back then. But definitely worth it… nothing else looks right.

They look great. I have the same ones on my 69 hardroof. I didn't see the link to the chain cutting tool? I definitely want to pick one of those up it seemed to do the job ok.

It was kind of hard to tell with the video sped up but I was happy with it. It was a little harder with the exhaust on the car but it cut through smoothly.
