When you mention the tiny little mirrors, when you're the driver and have them adjusted right, it's all you need. I had a 73 pinto that had those style mirrors or maybe 74 and drove that car for 2 years and never had any problems seeing out of the mirrors. That's the one thing they taught you in driver's ed when you sat down in your seat and put your seatbelt on and adjusted your seat. You adjusted the mirrors. I'll never forget that. That also when getting on the highway and you're on the on ramp you bring it right up to the speed limit before you even make a lane change and you can merge right in if there's a spot a car will fit you will fit. I can't believe how many people are doing 45 and 50 on the on-ramp expecting to merge into traffic doing 70 and they slam on their brakes and cause an accident

I just don’t remember having mirrors that small on a car I had when I was a kid. They just looked really small but I can see how they could work. Be blessed

You can definitely tell that car was garage kept all its life and well maintained and kept clean at all times. And it probably was somebody under 5'7 and 150 lb that owned it because that driver seat would have been a little more wore out on the sides getting in and out

Awesome car. I think you got lucky with the front seats. I've seen them not that nice with a little less miles. Maybe the previous owner was low in weight🙂 btw, what was the spray can and brand you used on the carb? Thanks.

Try using some Seafoam in the gas and oil to clean out nasty stuff , it looks like you have a 1970 Torino Cobra with a 429 Thunder Jet base Big block 10.5.1 compression. I almost bought 1 from a friend years ago Yellow and Black ,shaker hood ,louvers, front Spoiler, magnum 500's . Have Fun
