1971 Dodge Challenger r/t coyote swap reveal

Pulling the engine out of the 1971 Dodge Challenger r/t and revealing the plan to coyote swap it.

I had a 1971 purple Challenger R/T with a 383 and 4 speed. The Mopar only half inch thick Hurst shifter rods are fairly collectable. The Hurst aftermarket Hurst Competition Plus shifter had 0.375"" shifter rods and the Mr. Gasket shifter had 0.430" shifter rods. Even with the fat Mopar shifter rods, racers would weld additional rods along them to make them even stiffer, as the Challenger shifter rods are very long.
