That noise is the clutch sticking to the crankshaft and wanting to spin, clean it out. Don't run a water dry, please. GOD BLESS YOU! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! GLORY BE TO GOD!!!

“Please tell me it’s not poo”. Continues to scoop out the poo without gloves. Puts on gloves to remove flywheel. 😂😂

Did you destroy the starter clutch pulling it off? Those don't pull off, if you don't have the tool they make to remove it, take a small block of wood and a mallet and give the block of wood a few good knocks against one of the ears going left and it will loosen so you can unscrew it off.

Hey, I see you seem to be into motors and stuff too so I was wondering if you know what made the noise because I have an older Briggs motor that makes that noise and want to fix it, Thanks !
@Mr_Tecumseh5 жыл бұрын
Can you show us the code? I doubt thats a 71, in fact almost positive of it. It has all the looks and features of around a 1981. A 71 still would have had the old easy spin sticker on the recoil and in 71, they didn't market I/C like that. Its an 81. The first two digits of the code will say the year. I have a 74 sitting in my shed right now, its got much older style decals and much different color paint. I do have an 87 that looks much more like this, with the more modern decals like this one in the video, except magnetron ignition obviously. I do have an 81 vertical, looks just like this motor as far as paint and decals. Sorry to call you out, I'm sure it was an honest mistake. If I turn out to be wrong, I will gladly confess to it and apologize, but more than anything its killing me to know what that code reads on that engine lol. Actually 13 minutes on, magnetron ignition, didn't start until late 81 going into 82, wasnt on all Briggs until 83 and I can see by the color, thats a very early magnetron coil, yup 81 or 82 engine.

I would go back and wire wheel the fly wheel where the coil rubs on it with all of the magnets so you get better spark because you painted over it

I guess I missed the point of this video, unless it was to tear a engine down do a complete shitty paint job on it and put it back together. All that work guy and a bad paint job
