1972 JOHNSON 4HP OUTBOARD CARBURETOR SETTINGS - PART 1 HIGH SPEED ADJUSTMENT

This outboard motor is hard to start and doesn't idle at slow rpm. I replaced the sparkplugs and now need to properly adjust the carburetor settings. First, let's adjust the high speed setting.

50:1 is the ratio for johnson and evenrude from 1964 and newer. blog.marineengine.com/2018/04/09/johnson-evinrude-fuel-to-oil-mixture-ratio/
