Hello thank you for the return comment. My 74 z28 was identical to yours bronze bronze saddle interior, th 400 auto L82 which was very under rated what I liked most was how it handled with the F41 suspension as I remember I upgraded the shocks to koni , s and a duel point Mallory distributer , looking back I don’t think I gained much from that modification, but the first thing I did was to add a oil pressure gage the same as yours ,on a lighter note it took me a couple of seconds when you mentioned the earth/ which is ground here across the pond | Again best from USA and A Kracken camaro ,

Thanks for your comment! Yes we use a few different terms over here. I've just put new QA1 shocks on it and they are amazing. Good shocks are always worth it.

Thank you very much this video definitely helped me with my build I have a 76 Camaro as well bought it as a roller. I ran into the same issue as far as having to drill the holes for the crossmember relocation. Would you happen to have the length of your drive shaft It would help tons🙏🏻

That Camaro is a 1974-1977 model because the 1978-1981 models had different taillights and a different front grill.

indeed it is, my car is a 1976. however in terms of the front subframe which this video is about, for F-bodies there was two different generations. 1970-1973 and 1974 to 1981. the 1974-1981 subframes are slightly wider than the 1970-1973 ones.

Hi, the original automatic gearbox for a V8 Camaro of this year was the TH350. Somebody has swapped this for the bigger and stronger TH400 in my car.

Do you happen to know where I can purchase the correct bolts for the crossmember? I have the exact same type of crossmember for my camaro

Hi, because it doesn't have captive nuts in the chassis, you can use whatever bolt you would like, imperial or metric. Just buy four bolts and nuts from a DIY/Hardware shop. Make sure you sue the largest you can and with washers.
