The vents in the cowl are a good reference for stripes. They have even spacing so if you wanted use them to gauge the width of a stripe it's handy.

By far the hardest work I’ve watched you do. Been watching since the nomad build. Black is the hardest to paint, it will show every imperfection. Can’t wait to see the complete unveiling of this. Going to look absolutely Bad Ass. I still think you should paint the center console up.

Like Christmas morning lol. I have to say, you have a very efficient way of spraying, some guys walk around in a haze so thick you can barely see them. You put the paint on the car, instead of on the floor. Nice too that the shop doors haven't been used as a test area for adjusting the spray fan. Glad to see you getting worthwhile freebies from sponsors. Find work as always, good seeing Nikki.👍🏻

Great video, glad that paint laid out so nice in all that heat. Same problems here up north, we have to paint in day heat and muggy conditions due to massive amounts of bugs. We have condensation issues as well and water filter/seperators fully saturated at the worst possible times. You handled it all very well and it looks sweet. Can’t wait to see it after you unmask it and put on your finishing touches to it.

Please check out a you tube channel called rusted rides. It’s put out there by some Canadian guys. They paint and clear coat cars with rustolium. It’s called tremclad up in Canada. Maybe you could spray and clear an old hood or trunk lid and tell us what you think….. no I don’t spray car or trucks. I have painted two pick up trucks with rustolium using a small four inch long foam roller. Yes I liked the results. The video in question is about painting an old ford fairlane. It’s by far the cheapest way to go. They did use hardener in it which I’ve never done. Would all that be needed if your gonna clear it ?just an idea big guy.
@clunkersandclassics3 ай бұрын
You can buy the paint I use, real car paint, just as cheap as spray cans or Tremclad/Rustoleum.
@darrylowens92983 ай бұрын
@@clunkersandclassicsguess that’s true but the video I mentioned is not about rattle cans. The guy was using it straight out of the can. If he showed everything it’s quicker than auto paint since their is no buffing or compound involved…I just thought it looked interesting.
@clunkersandclassics3 ай бұрын
@@darrylowens9298 I watched the video. It looks good but wouldn't last more than a year down here in the south before turning to faded out garbage by the sun and he even said he was going to redo the car in a year so it was a temporary paint job. Good for a flip car but not a keeper. He also spent more than I did since he used clear and I didn't. And no, I don't buff my cars.
@trolllibtards26043 ай бұрын
Before you paint next time. Cover the car with those cheap clear plastic drop clothes. Then lite of some of those bug foggers. After a few hours, come back then paint the car. All those flying bugs that are hiding should be gone.
