I have a 1990 ford bronco! The back window stoped working, ended up taking a battery and some wires right to the window motor to get it down. Easiest way I’ve done it! It stopped working because of the safety switch inside! Keep up the hard work! Thing is going to be a beast!

Very nice Logan. Not sure if you can see it but that back window was down by about 1 inch from the very first video and I dont know how long it's been like that. Need to get the carpet up and make sure there is no rot.

Coco Chicken 222 do you know why it doesn’t run? I am no mechanic by any stretch. Mine barely ran and wouldn’t change gears. I took it to a shop and they said I need a new tranny. I took it to another and they said I need a new transmission wiring harness. I took it to a third and the adjust the TPS and it was much better. But was still horrible. I started to just do the basic maintenance stuff and it runs so much better now.

Basic maintenance stuff. New plugs and wires and cap and rotor. So much more power. Tomorrow I do the fuel filter. I think no one has ever done any basic maintenance. Just the basics are bringing her back to life.

It's always good to see your kids involved in something like this I love it I had my daughter with me last week at the shop working on a 47 GMC 3500 it's a great bonding experience keep it brother it's little things like this that will teach our next generation how to do something besides play video games and be cry baby's like we see our nation trying to turn out to be!!! Compression Ignition Army, 2 years old and mine help me pull the seats out. I broke the nuts and bolts lose then he took them off and put them on a magnet try. Teach them right and young. When putting them back he handed me loctite then the fastener. So proud. Last 4 oil changes he’s helped and been next to me helping. Big funnel helps with putting it in lol. The big impact on lug nuts is his fav. Keep teaching and never stop

Absolutely Larry. We all have that older ride that we have been holding on to. It sits there quietly waiting for us come start spinning wrenches on it. Tristan, I feel your pain. I was the same way with a 69 SS Nova I had. No, it was not an amazing cherry car, the front and side was jacked up from the previous owner being drunk and taking out a stack of mailboxes and putting the car in a ditch, The motor was clapped out of abuse and the 2-speed power glide was toasted, but it had zero rust and would be a great car to rebuild now. I'm going to have to keep my eye out for a replacement. I wish I never would have sold it.

@@PaperBeatsRock always look back and think damn whyd i ever sell it. The bronco had zero rust, lifted sitting on 38's 400 big block and a 4 speed. I loved that thing. Now i have three trucks i wanna redo but the one i wanna find an obs crew cab long bed and put my 7.3 in it. I have so much i wanna do but not enough time to do it. Cant wait to see the bronco back to its fame. You got me excited to start working on mine. You have a new sub as well keep up the work.

Have a 79 my self the power cord for rear window runs through bottom driver side by bumper there a connection that might not be connected look like a three pin connector like for a trailer. Hope that helps 😎👍🏽

Then after I'm monetized Ill save up the income and buy a good lens with stabilization built into it. For now, I'm trying to limit my handheld shots as much as I can. Just want to impart a warning in case you ever decide to remove the tailgate for any reason. Be very careful of the torsion bar when removing the tailgate, please. I was assisting my son to remove his from his 78 and the torsion bar whacked my forearm and fractured the bone and crushed a muscle. Didn't see that coming at all. 3/8" rod on tailgate is under extreme torque while tailgate is down.

I would put a 4" Suspension lift on it and run 36"tsl or 37" boggers

as it sits right now it can run 35's no problem. I'm thinking I may do a 6" lift without the body lift and run 40s. we will see though. still debating.

@@PaperBeatsRock just saw this, mine has one of the 2 4 speed ford offered... I think it's a t18 but it could be a 19 swapped from a later truck... either way, it's been years and it still goes into gear.

use a screwdriver for the rear window panel like ford and god intended! Also, you should have just pulled the motor to get the glass down, its spring assisted,it wont fall if you pull the motor.

Nothing wrong with using the impact. I would rather the boy learns to use it on something easy and just replace hardware if need be. Oh yeah we did end up removing the motor as well to get the glass down. The gears and spring had a ton of junk in them and it was hard as hell to push the glass down against all that.

I was wondering who might own that orange truck that was in the background of the video & if they would be interested in selling it??? I absolutely love that year of trucks 1967-1972!! I’m looking for a blazer also & I don’t care if it has a motor in it just a decent body & running gear!! I guess I’m looking for a good project for myself!!

J.J. Thank you so much for watching the videos. The gentlemen that owns the Orange 69Chevy C/20 in the background is not looking to sell it but he does have a 2nd one that is 4x4 and he will be looking to sell. I'll get his info and pass it on to you.

You should give the bronco to your son for his first vehicle nothing better be a teenager an be the one out your friend's to have 78 bronco nothing like learning how to drive with a real vehicle

We will have to see what will happen. I know he would love it but he does have a few hurdles to cross. He is autistic and we are working on as many life skills as we can with him. But I would love to hand the keys over to him one day.

$3,500 I think 20+ years ago. lol it was a whole lot cleaner when I got it as well.

Yeah, my Dad was 5'6" and I'm 6' on the spot. Seth is a good inch taller than I am and he is only 15. lol

1978 Broncos don’t have square headlights. Wtf??????

Haha yes they do. The 1978 custom trim level had round head lights, all trim levels above that have rectangular ones. In 1979 all trim levels have rectangular headlights. My 1978 is a XLT. Its manufacturing plate actually is 11/77.
