On "My Car Story" we're in Carpentersville IL on 7-5-17 at Meadowdale Performance Garage, Inc.
We're looking at a 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Catrier Designer Series in White & Blue Paint.
We’re talking with Humberto Garcia, Owner of Meadowdale Performance Garage, Inc. His inspiration for the Lincoln Brand came from his Father when he bought a new 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III when he was a boy in Mexico. The result is he became a lifelong “Fan of the Lincoln Continental”. He’s had this cars since 2011. He purchased the car on eBay sharing it needed repair, and owning a garage he fixed the car himself and here is the car today. This car is all original.
The company is located at 80 N. Kennedy Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110 who repairs & restores cars.
If you’re interested in restoring your car, call Humberto at the office # 1-847-783-0525. Or go to www.meadowdalegarage.com
ENJOY!

It is an amazing car. These combined a plush interior with a suspension that smoothed most any road surface. With a quite and adequately powerful engine, it could propel the no-expense-spared mass of a body as if it were a much lighter vehicle. As an owner driving one of these Lincolns, you would not be able to forget - you arrived. I would drive it proudly if I owned it. ...and he got into this car as we see it for only about 400 dollars? That is just not right.

My father had a 1979 Ford Thunderbird Heritage Edition. He gave it to his brother-in-law after he was finished with daily driving it 8 years ago (In Canadian winters might I add). Right now, it sits on my uncle's property in a similar condition to when it was parked. Assuming old Jim doesn't send it to the scrapyard before too long, I'm going to take my father's car back.

There has to be a mechanic that is, as competant as Mr. Garcia in the Central Mn area. Im baffled as to how many mechanics you can bring a classic simple 70s ford 302 car and they cant even tune it up or get it running right. Thats why I have taken matters in to my own hands and have been slowly getting my own tools to do all my own work.

I understand the Chrysler Cordoba was highly endorsed by the great Carlos Montalban and very much prized for its rare Corinthian leather. Many even considered it to be their fantasy to own and drive a Chrysler Cordoba, at least the guests I met on the island I grew up on. When they first would arrive on the plane, master Roarke and I would call for silence so the purr of our Chrysler Cordoba would be the only thing they could hear behind the crashing of the ocean waves in the background. Those were really magical times. Thanks for bringing me back to my roots.
