Had one of these (red 1987 "eggshell" Elite 150s) in high school which I bought for $1,200 behind my dad's back. Left the title in the previous owner's name as I was under 18 and couldn't legally transfer it anyways. Only had it for about two weeks before my stealthy venture unraveled after my dad followed my footprints in the snow to an apartment complex where it was hidden. Immediately thereafter, my dad took possession and forced the sale. After I turned 18 and couldn't be stopped, I bought a light blue 1986 Elite 150 Deluxe (even though the red 1985/1986 150 Deluxe was always my favorite). Anyways, the reason I'm commenting is because the unique, throaty sound of the Elite 150's engine brings back memories! Thanks for the post!

I'm about to buy one. I'm kinda tall so I noticed it's a bit awkward bending my leg to use the brake pedal. Do you know if there's a different seat I can buy to sit higher on the bike? Or maybe sit further back?

i have a problem with pulling the accelerator on mine and if i pull it too hard it stalls can anyone help me with this problem literally have no idea what’s wrong

The Carburetor sound dirty. There is a Main Jet that needs to be Cleaned on the Bottom of the Bowl.
