I had to google what the hell Peloton is - apparently just an exercise bike. I have a bit of trouble imagining why one would need an instructor to succeed at biking in one spot. Even more so when it's one of those fancy ones with a screen that literally have programs to choose from.

My huge surprise was finding out that a "spin class" is just an "instructor" on a stationary bike. I don't know what I DID think spin class was, but it wasn't THAT. (I think I pictured people all sitting on a "Sit n Spin" toy and spinning together. 🤦‍♂️)

Okay, I love ya Matt, but: Appetite for Destruction came out in '87. Poison and Motley Crue (who truly WERE hair metal, unlike Guns, where the connection is tenuous) had their biggest albums on or after '87. As did Def Leppard. '87 began the HEIGHT of hair metal success. Conversely, hair metal bands were rendered obsolete after Nevermind and Pearl Jam's "10" hit big in 1992. Four years after Guns debuted. Finally, Guns were famously, heavily influenced by punk. The influence is (or, uh, SHOULD be) impossible to miss throughout their catalog. I wouldn't dare call myself a punk fan if I couldn't hear the influence on GnR's music. I suspect you haven't listened very closely. Nothing wrong with that, but it looks bad when you go dismissively denying the HEAVY influence on their music. Axl, Izzy, and Duff were members of prominent L.A. punk bands in the before times. Still love ya man. Keep up the great work. 👍👍👍 (Not your music evaluation, obviously... You're shaky as hell there.)

16:23 Gotta disagree, Appetite for Destruction is by far the best GnR album, and it didn't KILL hair metal, it ENDED it. It brought it to it's logical conclusion. After Appetite for Destruction there was no longer any need for any of the other hair/glam metal crap. Just like after Kung Fu Hustle, there really wasn't any need for any more comedy... Seen it?
