Awesome video. Thanks for making it. I was at that show and Coe did not place at all. He completed the prejudging , became ill and did not show up for the evening show Chris was in great shape and posed incredibly. Not everybody was happy with the decision, but I thought he was a worthy winner

Corney stopped the show dead in it's tracks. Fantastic shape , received a standing ovation. Best poser of all time .

Great content, you must have an amazing collection of magazines! Also, your voice sounds almost identical to Justin Long's narration of Everything's Eventual, a short story by Stephen King. I almost can't get over all the similarities you and Justin share. The way you perfectly articulate words, certain syllables and mannerisms in your speech. It's uncanny! In the book, Frank Sinatra's My Way comes up in part of the plot, and you mention it here in this video. It was just blowing my mind hearing your voice and then you mention that song. Anyways, hope this finds you well!

Great video. I am friends with tommy Aybar and the late Harold Poole. I grew up in the gym with them, i was a kid. I’m still friends with Tommy. Can’t wait to show him the video. Thanks.

I was at that show… prejudging and nighttime Robinson should’ve had 1st- dickersons flat left bicep alone should’ve kept him out of the top 2 - the crowd except for a few was not happy that Chris won … should’ve been Robinson - Corney - then maybe Dickerson though it could’ve been any of the remaining top 5. Ed Corney brought the house down with his posing routine - and he was sharp! Dickersons posing was smooth but uninspired. Just my opinion… I can’t for the life of me understand how Dickerson was ever a Mr Olympia… other short guys like Samir, Padilla far outclass him…

@@samuelclemons508 I never saw the contest or saw him pose live we all have our favourites I guess Robby was one of mine over Chris, it’s totally a personal choice.

@@peterwroberts4379 Robby was indeed a fantastic bodybuilder. I was also at the 78 , and 79 shows , and he was a worthy winner of these. Arguably an uncrowned Mr O .

Nice job Nice channel Continued success to you. I personally thought Ed Corney won this hands down. His physique was so much more complete than the rest of the other competitors, no weaknesses. And the posing, Dickerson wasn't ever in Ed's class

I was at this contest . Dickerson presented a perfect physique , and was a GREAT POSER. He consistently doesn't get the credit he deserves . And that's a fact . Btw ... lol, It was Damon , not Damien Poole .
