My Father had the 1.2 4 doors 1974, I will never forget the sound of it..

I've just watched it twice, to celebrate an amazing find on my Sud. Under one of the door rubbers looked very rusty 😳 it literally polished out with Autoglym Super Resin. 5 minutes 😂 now it's getting every treatment it can have to protect it. Forever. Anyone who hasn't driven a Sud, put it on your bucket list 😃
My dad had the sprint veloce 1.5 back in the day. Went like hell superb car glued to the road but never started in the wet

I had one of these (in dark blue). Used to get faster every day, as something else fell off it, but sounded amazing - accelerating in parts of Glasgow where there were tenements to rebound the sound was awesome. The party trick used to be to edge forward at traffic lights beside an XR3 or Golf GTi (to get them interested), then when the lights changed, you let them go, but once in 3rd, you could take them... ease off to let them catch up, then take them again....... That 3rd gear was stunning!

Lovely drive. I assume from the sound that the original airbox had been replaced with open filters? A lot more induction noise than normal in this recording.

Is this one still for sale? It's my dream car, my dad had one when I was a boy and always promised we would get it back on the road together. But then due to money he had to sell it on :( one day maybe :(

Liam Sollars Yes still for sale! Took it off the market for 3 months and used it ourselves - Seriously what a fantastic little car, so much fun! If you fancy it I’m sure we could sort something out and get your back into one of these Alfa’s again! Just give us a call. Cheers Sam

What did it sell for? I'm only curious as I own a 1983 sprint green cloverleaf which I currently insure for a value of 15k, and wondered if that's the right ball park these days.

@@klauskarnath8233 Only 200 Trofeo build for the UK market, there were a number built for other European markets, all of those would be LHD.
