Looks and sounds terrific. Thanks for an interesting vac vid once again. I understand this was an exclusive model as opposed to the quite similar mainline model U1040. The only difference of which I'm aware (after watching your vid) is that the U1040 has a dial height adjuster, whilst the U1108 has the lever.

Vacuums need to go back to bagged. So much cleaner. They need to go back to that ibaisaic sound too. I love vacuums from the 90’s and earlier. So nostalgic. It’s weird to explain. It just gives me a good memory feeling.

Hello Roger there is a Hoover Junior Dirtsearcher U1040 on eBay manufactured in 1978 £250.00 buy it now collection from Luton

I have seen that Junior on eBay. It is way overpriced with a poor repair to the top of the bag and collection only means that the seller is limiting the number of customers. I can’t see anyone paying £250 for that.
