The car still has the 22r. Will swap the engine at a later date. I want to sort the suspension/brakes out first. Get in touch with techno toy tuning for your suspension

@@outrider4945 I don't know if it's beefy enough for rally racing, the arms that is, I am having them do the shocks though. Going to completely box out the factory ones for now and possibly fabricate some later if they don't hold up.

@@kronik2020 look at the LCA that's what I have. Fully boxed, adjustable, spherical ends and beefy ball joint

@@outrider4945 I have to double check the regulations but I believe for the vintage class I have to run factory arms but the open class anything goes as long as it still looks the same cosmetically like a factory car and meets weight restrictions

it still looks like there's a fair amount of tension on your spring. When I took my control arm off (this is the part i was servicing, not the actual strut at the moment) the spring was basically slack. Is this normal?

Did you buy this Celica with the Beams Engine already installed? I am looking into swapping my 22r-et(custom swap from 89 pickup) out for the Beams as it revs higher and is a better suited motor for Rally Racing applications for balance and power to weight. If you are doing the swap what is your plan for the trans? Keeping the W58 5spd or going to the 6 that comes with the Beams?

Are the knuckles from the RA64 from T3 or did you use the ones from the AE86?

I tried using the original knuckles at first and they worked when I was using stock brakes. But then I went to the wilwoods I had clearance issues. So I had to use the T3 evolved knuckles and evolved RCA. I think they might be the same for AE86
