He was in so much depression, he never let that realized to his fans. His smile always made us felt he is Ok but he wasn't sadly. Family disfunction and his drastic unbearable relationship with his father that time affected him a lot. Thriller era was good, fantastic and at the same time begun a gradual process of controversial timing in Michael Jackson's life. We are sorry for this phenomenonal artist, this greatest Humanitarian who just wanted to change the world through his music. He never thought he would be so humiliated and misunderstood so much. Rest in peace Michael 🙏🌻 wherever you are.

After Thriller, among critics/media, skepticism and suspicion only grew. This video let me understand how Big Thriller actually Was 🤯... MJ was in his mid 20s He was so big His Brothers were able to go on a farewell world tour setting them up and his family financially. Changed Quincys life as well. And Alfonso (carlton) got a whole career start. Janet got a career. Even Latoya. It was like Epic/CBS was printing their own money when released off a $750k budget for Thriller and made in 3 months. Like the white guy in vid said it the the album is 1 year and a half 2 years old and still flying off the shelves. He gave his earnings from victory tour to charity. And still was able to purchase the infamous Beatles and others catalog. MJ set the world on fire and had a powerful mind. And brought the world together. It's like he was a wrestler that never broke character. Amazing. Undieable. Such a person lived.

When he said that I thought of the fame of Bobby Brown after he was kicked out of NE. I love seeing him so happy and successful. He was always successful, but he deserved to be this happy his whole life, and it was slowly drained from him by this evil world.

I was 7-8 years old and a huge MJ fan, I had the red zipper jacket from Beat It and JC Penney would sell faux style MJ glove and matching socks. I agree that '83-'84 were Jackson's peak years in popularity that any mention of him was always making headlines.

I recently started collecting the 1984 MJ dolls and I've noticed that some of them are dark, some light brown and some of them are lightskin. Years ago I thought they all looked the same but with different outfits.

Love this approach to your videos! it really brings me back to that year and how everyone could have felt to his growing attraction. Could you do this for every major year he's had? for instance the year of the bad tour, dangerous tour, and the interesting years in between?
